VICARAGE GATE HOUSE.
Kensington, London
Ultra-prime residential apartments in Kensington fitted with bespoke timber windows and entrance doors, hand-selected and installed to a Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea aesthetic standard.
Vicarage Gate House is an ultra-prime residential building in Kensington where the facade specification called for bespoke timber windows and entrance doors rather than the standard aluminium approach. Delta Facades installed hand-crafted timber casements and doors made from stability-selected hardwood, with concealed hardware, high-performance IGUs and factory-applied finishes designed for a Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea aesthetic standard. Every unit was site-witnessed for finish, gap and operation before sign-off.
Every opening was individually surveyed and each timber unit hand-made off-site to that specific opening. Frames were pre-finished under factory conditions and only installed when the surrounding stonework and reveals were signed off, protecting the finish until handover.
