UNITISED CURTAIN WALL INSTALLERS & FITTERS UK.
Factory-built panels, installed fast and accurately on site
Delta Facades are unitised curtain wall installers and fitters for high-rise and large-volume buildings across the UK. Unitised panels arrive glazed and finished from the fabricator; our job is to set the brackets accurately, lift and land every panel safely, and seal the interlocking joints so the facade performs as tested.
Bracket setting decides the result
Unitised facades are only as good as the brackets beneath them. Our setting-out engineers survey the slab edges, set and lock brackets to the design line and level, and record every position before panels are lifted, so stack joints and vertical joints close as designed.
Lifting and landing panels
Our unitised curtain wall fitters install with tower cranes, mini cranes, floor-mounted monorails and spider cranes depending on site logistics. Lift plans, exclusion zones and panel delivery sequences are agreed with the main contractor so installation keeps pace with the frame.
Joints, interfaces and fire-stopping
Once panels are landed we complete stack-joint gaskets, transfer membranes, slab-edge fire-stopping and cavity barriers, then test agreed bays. Interfaces with roofs, podiums and rainscreen are detailed and inspected before close-out.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.
Do you manufacture unitised panels?+
No. We are installation-only. Panels are fabricated by the system fabricator using systems from leading manufacturers; we install them on site.
What lifting methods do your unitised fitters use?+
Tower cranes, mini and spider cranes, and floor-mounted monorails or hoists, selected to suit the site and programme.
How many panels can you install per day?+
Output depends on panel size, lifting method and access. We agree a realistic installation rate with the main contractor at tender and plan resource around it.
Do you install unitised facades outside London?+
Yes, we install across the UK, with most unitised projects in London and the South East.
